PLAY YOUR OWN GAME

Golf is a social experience, but at the end of the day, it’s an individual sport.

And then, sometimes, the fun can be taken away entirely once we start comparing ourselves to others.

We may start to think that we're not good enough or that we'll never be as good as our playing partners.

But the truth is, we're all different.

We all have our own strengths and weaknesses. And that's what makes the game of golf so great.

It's a game that anyone can play, regardless of skill level.

So, don't compare yourself to others next time you're on the golf course. Focus on your own game, and have fun with it.

Here are a few tips to help you play your own game:

  • Don't compare your scores. It's easy to get caught up in comparing your scores to others, but this is a surefire way to ruin your game. Instead, focus on improving your own score internally each time you play.
  • Don't compare your distance. Just because your playing partner can hit the ball farther than you doesn't mean they're a better golfer. Focus on hitting the ball the correct distance for each shot.
  • Don't compare your equipment. Just because your playing partner has the latest clubs doesn't mean you need them to be a good golfer. Use the clubs that feel comfortable and that you can hit well.

Have fun!

Golf is a game, so make sure you're enjoying yourself. If you're not having fun, you're less likely to stick with it.

So relax, take your time, and enjoy the experience!
